EUBAM Rafah surpasses 7,000 two-way crossings at the Rafah Crossing Point

Through its monitoring role of Palestinian border experts, EUBAM Rafah facilitates the crossing of women, men and children.

Among challenging operational conditions such as increasing temperatures, EUBAM Rafah has reached an important milestone, facilitating more than 7,000 two-way crossings since operations resumed on 2 February.

7,068 individuals have crossed the RCP:

3,397 entries into Gaza
3,671 exits to Egypt

including 1,274 people requiring medical treatment.

This achievement reflects the professionalism and commitment of mission personnel and partners working to support safe and orderly crossings under demanding circumstances.

EUBAM Rafah remains committed to facilitating movement through the Rafah Crossing Point and supporting humanitarian access where possible.
