North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Michael Whatley for US Senate |
|
WILMINGTON - Today, the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Michael Whatley for US Senate. The FOP noted that over his five decades of running for political office, Governor Cooper has always favored soft-on-crime policies that put civilians and law enforcement officers in danger. Whatley praised the FOP and committed to continue his support of law enforcement when elected to the US Senate. This is the third major law enforcement group to endorse Whatley. Whatley was joined by NC FOP President Chet Effler. |

"Michael Whatley has the 100% support of the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police. He has demonstrated to the North Carolina FOP that he stands with law enforcement, and will work to make sure our officers have the resources needed to keep our communities safe. Michael Whatley will always back the blue and have our backs in Washington DC," said the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police President Chet Effler. "I am honored to be endorsed by the North Carolina Fraternal Order of Police. Roy Cooper has spent his entire career fighting harder for criminals than the men and women who wear a badge every day to protect our families. As your next Senator, I will work with our dedicated law enforcement officers to keep our kids and communities safe," said Michael Whatley. |
