William Mark Duyck Sentenced to 450 Months in Prison

HILLSBORO, Ore- On August 4, 2026, Judge Erik Buchér sentenced William Mark Duyck, age 62, to 450 months in prison. This sentence follows a trial in which a jury found the defendant guilty of six counts of sexual abuse in the first degree. Senior Deputy District Attorney Andy Pulver prosecuted this case.

The defendant sexually abused more than one child multiple times over the course of several years. The abuse occurred in the city of Banks, Oregon. Detectives with the Washington County Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation and located an eyewitness who confirmed the abuse took place.

The Washington County District Attorney's Office commends the victims in this case for their bravery. This office also commends the work of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The defendant will be transferred to the Oregon Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
