Chinese Ambassador to Cyprus Yang Yundong Pays a Courtesy Call on Minister of Health of Cyprus Neophytos Charalambides

On August 20, 2026, Ambassador of China to Cyprus Yang Yundong paid a courtesy call on Minister of Health of Cyprus Neophytos Charalambides.

Ambassador Yang elaborated on China's achievements in the public health sector. He pointed out that health cooperation is an important component of the China-Cyprus strategic partnership. The Chinese side is ready to further expand and deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Cypriot side in this field, so as to deliver benefits to the two peoples.

Minister Charalambides welcomed Ambassador Yang on his assumption of the new post, spoke highly of the China-Cyprus traditional friendship, and reaffirmed commitment to the one-China policy.
