Brookhaven Boulevard traffic to be temporarily impacted by waterline construction

As part of the ongoing Danfield Waterline Replacement Project, a contractor will implement a partial closure near the intersection of Brookhaven Boulevard and Danfield Drive. Work in this area includes replacement of the existing waterline near the intersection, along with associated pavement restoration.

Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, February 16, 2026, and the partial road closure is expected to remain in place for up to four weeks. During this time, eastbound and westbound traffic on Brookhaven Boulevard may be impacted at different times, but both directions will not be closed simultaneously. Access to residences adjacent to the construction area will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area, watch for workers, and follow all posted traffic control measures.
