Chinese Consul General in Perth Fu Lihua Pays a Courtesy Call on Western Australia Minister for Science and Innovation Stephen Dawson

On December 18, 2025, Chinese Consul General in Perth Fu Lihua, accompanied by Consul Liu Guannan, paid a courtesy call on Hon Stephen Dawson MLC, Western Australia Minister for Regional Development, Ports, Science and Innovation, Medical Research, and the Kimberley.

Consul General Fu introduced China's achievements in scientific and technological innovation, noting that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, China will accelerate efforts to achieve greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology, steer the development of new quality productive forces, promote full integration between technological and industrial innovation, and promote high-quality development. She emphasized the solid foundation for cooperation between China and Western Australia and expressed readiness to further expand scientific and technological collaboration for greater mutual benefit.
