Call for Costumes: Donate to Our Upcoming Costume Swap

Get ready for Halloween and help give gently used costumes a second life. The City of San Rafael is collecting clean, gently used costumes and accessories for our annual Halloween Costume Swap at Pickleweed Park.

Costumes of all sizes are welcome, and donations are open to all ages. Bring costumes and accessories your family no longer needs, and help make them available to someone else.

Where to Donate

Donate at any of the following locations from now through Thursday, October 8:

Dontations will also be accepted during the Halloween Costume Swap event on Friday, October 9, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Pickleweed Park, 50 Canal Street.

What to Donate

  • Clean, gently used Halloween costumes
  • Costumes for all ages and sizes
  • Halloween accessories, such as hats, masks, capes, and props
  • Items that are in good condition and ready for someone else to use

The Halloween Costume Swap will take place Friday, October 9, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Pickleweed Park, during the final night of Movies in the Park. Stop by to drop off, exchange, or take home a costume at no cost. The evening will also feature a showing of Toy Story 5 at sunset.

Whether you're looking for a costume or have one to share, everyone is welcome to take part.
