Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fires on Sutton Avenue and Mayfair Avenue

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) recently responded to fires on Sutton Avenue and Mayfair Avenue.

Sutton Avenue

At 2:48 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a three-storey apartment building in the 300 block of Sutton Avenue.

At the scene, crews found smoke coming from the building. Firefighters used an offensive attack and declared the fire under control at 3:07 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.

Mayfair Avenue

At 7:18 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a four-storey apartment building in the 100 block of Mayfair Avenue.

When they arrived, crews found smoke coming from the building. Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 7:44 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
