8 Can't Miss Events During Fleet Week Houston

Celebration will bring vessels, more than 1,000 servicemembers to the City

April 6, 2026 -- The inaugural Fleet Week Houston will bring three major military vessels, more than 1,000 active-duty U.S. servicemembers, and a series of events to Houston April 15-22.

Houstonians and visitors will get the chance to tour USS Kearsarge (LHD-3), USS Minneapolis-St. Paul (LCS-21), USS St. Louis (LCS-19), and USCGC Edgar Culbertson (WPC-1137), which will be docked along the Houston Ship Channel. The event also presents an opportunity for Houston to welcome servicemembers through dozens of events across the community at schools, museums parks, ballgames, and more. Here are a few of the highlighted events happening during Fleet Week Houston:

April 15: Parade of Ships
Seawolf Park, Galveston
Watch the parade of ships into the Houston Ship Channel to kick-off the inaugural Fleet Week Houston, and welcome the more than 1,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who will be participating in the week-long festivities. Details ...

April 16: Fleet Week on the Plaza
The Plaza at Avenida Houston, Downtown

April 18 and 19: Fleet Week Houston Aviation Exhibit
Lone Star Flight Museum, Ellington Airport Area
Ellington Airport and Lone Star Flight Museum present a unique opportunity to see and interact with a variety of visiting Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard aircraft. April 18 and 19: Fleet Week Expo
Post Houston, Downtown
Experience each of the visiting sea services, as well as other public agencies, through interactive experiences, entertainment, talks, and demonstrations. The EXPO will also feature local Houston culture, food, experiences, businesses, and more.
