DGA Statement on Governor-Elect Phil Weiser's Victory in Colorado

DGA Chair Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear released the following statement on Phil Weiser being elected the next governor of the state of Colorado:

"Congratulations to Phil Weiser on being elected the next governor of Colorado. As the son and grandson of Holocaust survivors, Phil has been guided by a deep and personal commitment to defending the American values of democracy and the rule of law - and he will carry these same values into his role as governor. As attorney general, he fiercely defended Coloradans from harmful and illegal actions from the Trump administration. He will continue his fight as governor, ensuring that the state's government works for the people, not special interests, and will make housing, health care, and groceries more affordable. The DGA is proud to continue supporting Governor-elect Weiser every step of the way."
