H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to accompany H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, on an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia during 3 - 4 August 2026 at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia.

This introductory visit, in accordance with the ASEAN tradition, is the Prime Minister's first official visit to Indonesia. The Prime Minister will co-chair the 2nd Leaders' Consultation with the President of the Republic of Indonesia, to discuss ways forward in bilateral cooperation in all areas, including security, combatting transnational crime, trade and investment, food and energy security, people-to-people relations, and regional cooperation within ASEAN. The two leaders will also announce the Roadmap on Strategic Partnership 2026 - 2030.

During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to preside over the opening of the Thailand - Indonesia Business Forum. He will also deliver a speech at the ASEAN Secretariat on the Future of ASEAN.
