This is also the direction that Acecook Vietnam has persistently pursued over the years by partnering with the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority (VDMA) to implement practical community-oriented programs.

Partnering to prepare the community for natural disasters

Over the years, Acecook Vietnam has collaborated with the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to implement numerous communication and training activities aimed at raising awareness on disaster prevention and control in various localities. Going beyond simply providing support when disasters occur, the company aims to help residents proactively identify risks, equip themselves with essential skills, and prepare to respond from an early stage.

In 2026, Acecook Vietnam continues its partnership with the Vietnam Disaster Management Authority to roll out training and communication activities across multiple provinces and cities. Knowledge and response skills are being disseminated to diverse target groups, tailored to the specific characteristics and needs of each community segment.

In Thai Nguyen, over 1,000 students gained access to disaster prevention and control knowledge through visual communication activities, while local reporters and journalists were equipped with disaster communication skills to help deliver warning information and instructions to the public more quickly and accurately.

In Dak Lak, the program focused on enhancing risk assessment capacities and developing community response plans, while also supplementing knowledge on nutrition before, during, and after natural disasters so that residents are better prepared for emergency situations. Additionally, the delegation visited Hoa Thinh commune-the epicenter of severe flooding in 2025 that suffered heavy damage.

Meanwhile, in Lai Chau-a locality frequently facing the risks of flash floods and landslides-the program targeted village heads, village elders, and grassroots core forces, who play a crucial role in supporting the community when disasters strike.

At such times, being equipped with prior knowledge and skills can help communities proactively identify risks, prepare better, and respond more effectively to abnormal disaster developments, thereby contributing to minimizing damages.

Alongside material and financial support, Acecook Vietnam also participates in activities helping residents rebuild their lives, including building houses for the people of Lang Nu village. Communication activities on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction will also be stepped up, helping residents enhance their ability to proactively prevent and respond to abnormal weather developments.

Additionally, Acecook Vietnam always stands ready to maintain emergency support resources, promptly delivering essential products to residents in situations involving natural disasters, flash floods, and landslides. With the spirit of providing timely support tailored to actual needs, the company aims to shorten the time it takes to deliver products to those in need during such emergencies.
