WASHINGTON (May 18, 2026) - Edison Electric Institute (EEI) President and CEO Drew Maloney today issued the following statement congratulating David LaCerte on his reconfirmation to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC):
"EEI and our member companies congratulate Commissioner David LaCerte on his reconfirmation to FERC. At a time of historic electricity demand and rapid investment across the energy sector, FERC's leadership remains critical to advancing reliable, affordable energy for all customers.
