City of Detroit partners with Detroit Lions to kick off new season with a coloring book that showcases fan-favorite celebrations

The City Office of Arts, Culture and Entrepreneurship (Detroit ACE) is partnering with the Detroit Lions to kick off a powerful new season with a special treat for children of all ages across the state: a coloring book featuring the most popular moments of celebration during the team's unprecedented 2024 campaign as the team looks ahead to the 2025 season.

The book - which can be downloaded at detroitartsandculture.com - shows:

  • David Montgomery celebrating his game-winning touchdown in overtime against the Los Angeles Rams at Ford Field on Sunday, September 8, 2024
  • Dan Campbell accepting the game ball from Jared Goff after beating the Dallas Cowboys 47-9 at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, October 13, 2024
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown doing a headstand in the end zone to celebrate his touchdown against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday, November 4, 2024
  • Jahmyr Gibbs celebrating his fourth touchdown in what would be a 31-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field, clinching back-to-back NFC North Division Championships for the Lions , on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Detroit ACE is encouraging kids and diehard young fans to embellish the posters and send screen shots of their work with their names, ages and home city to [email protected]. Many will be featured on the ACE website.

"There has never been a season like this, but we're ready for a season to beat it and many more celebrations like this," said the City's Director of Arts and Culture Rochelle Riley, a Lions season-ticket holder and Aidan Hutchinson's biggest fan. "Our goal is to make sure that every person, whether they are at Ford Field, at a tailgate, in front of a TV or watching on a phone, preserves that memory while making some new ones come September!"
