This interdepartmental working group was established in accordance with the President's Instruction No. 325-rp of October 14, 2024, and includes representatives of federal authorities, the Bank of Russia, governments of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and the expert community. The group oversees the establishment of regulatory mechanisms for the ecosystems of the digital economy and digital platforms as new forms of economic relations.
The meeting of the interdepartmental working group was held as a follow-up on the instructions to draft a National Strategy for Digital Platforms set out by the President during his address at the plenary session of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The participants discussed the implementation of platform solutions in economic sectors and other spheres, as well as methods to improve legislation on the platform economy.
A number of practical decisions were adopted, including on creating expert groups in healthcare; education; employment; finance; trade; transport and logistics; urban environment; construction and real estate; agriculture; energy; industry; tourism; communications, media and entertainment; the data of state information systems (registers) and digital platforms; international cooperation and the promotion of Russian ecosystems of the digital economy and digital platforms in international markets.
The task of these expert groups is to assess the current implementation of platform solutions and digital technologies in the relevant economic sectors and other fields, and to identify the main development obstacles and risks.
The results of their work will be taken into consideration in the drafting of a National Strategy for Digital Platforms.
