I returned to work at FSU in a contractual administrative assistant position for the Department of Engineering on ABET accreditation for the engineering programs. I enjoy activities with family and friends and taking trips to Ocean City, Md.
What was your favorite thing about working at Frostburg State University?
The interactions with other staff, faculty and students and making lifelong friendships. FSU has always been a wonderful place to work!
Do you stay connected to other retirees and/or current faculty and staff?
Yes. I meet several current staff members for lunch or dinner frequently. Throughout the years when I worked at FSU, I felt blessed to have made lasting friendships. A few of those friendships have lasted over 50 years, and we still get together several times a month.
What advice would you give to current students?
Take advantage of all the resources available - from faculty, staff, academic programs, etc. - to help you succeed in your college education.
