Schatz, HUD Secretary Discuss Impact Of Hawai‘i Storms, Federal Support For Recovery

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawai'i) released the following statement on his call with U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner regarding the recent storms in Hawai'i.

"I spoke with Secretary Turner today about the recent storms across Hawai'i, and we agreed to keep working together as recovery efforts continue. Rebuilding after a disaster of this magnitude requires significant resources, and we're going to continue doing everything we can at all levels of government to help people get back on their feet in the months ahead."
