Shortly before 830 on the morning of March 30th, the firefighters of Engine 2, Ladder 2, Squad 2, Rescue 1 & Division 1 effected the rescue of 2 construction workers who were stranded on disabled scaffolding approximately 70' high, against a high-rise building on Vassar St.
Firefighters in safety harnesses removed the victims to safety via a window on a lower floor. Both victims were evaluated by EMS but refused any further treatment.
This was a methodic, "text book" operation as members have trained in this type of scenario many times.

Professional Ambulance, MIT Police, and Cambridge Police also assisted on scene.

Ladder 2 deploys the aerial ladder to reach the construction workers trapped on the scaffolding.
