Harshbarger Joins Secretary Kennedy, Administrator Oz, and Trump Administration Officials for Launch of Moms.gov

Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger (R-TN) joined Trump administration officials at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) headquarters for the launch of Moms.gov , a first-of-its-kind federal resource for new and expecting mothers. The initiative was directly inspired by Harshbarger's Pregnancy.gov Act , legislation she introduced to connect expectant mothers with life-affirming resources in their community.

"Having a baby is one of God's greatest gifts, and no mother should ever face that blessing alone and afraid. I introduced the Pregnancy.gov Act because I knew that getting the right information to a woman at the right moment could change what happens next," said Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger. "I'm proud that the Trump administration embraced the vision behind my legislation and turned it into a trusted, life-affirming resource that can help connect women and families to the care and support they need."

"This Mother's Day, the Trump Administration is strengthening its commitment to America's families by equipping mothers and fathers with the resources and information they need to build healthy, prosperous lives," said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. "Moms.gov delivers critical tools and support to help parents foster healthy pregnancies, strengthen young families, and create brighter futures for their children. This is how you Make America Healthy Again."

Launched on Mother's Day, Moms.gov is an easy-to-navigate platform connecting mothers with pregnancy centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, nutrition guidance, breastfeeding information, mental health resources, adoption information, preconception health, Trump Accounts, Trump Rx, and more.

Harshbarger was joined by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Oz, HRSA Administrator Tom Engels, Office of the Surgeon General Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor Dr. Stephanie Haridopolos, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Women's Health Dr. Dorothy Fink, Heartbeat International President Jor-El Godsey, Olympic athlete and women's sports advocate Riley Gaines, Katie Miller, and others.

Behind every life is a mother who needed someone to believe in her first.

Moms.gov is America finally showing up for her.

When you're blessed with a pregnancy, whether expected or unexpected, you shouldn't have to scramble for help.

That was the driving conviction behind my Pregnancy.gov Act, and it's why I am so proud to be here today to celebrate the launch of Moms.gov.

[...]

God's word tells us, "Do not fear, for I am with you."

That promise is one for every mother who is scared right now, staring at a positive pregnancy test and wondering how she's going to make it.

We may not be able to whisper that to her personally-but Moms.gov can be the hand that reaches out and says: "help is here."

When a woman finds out she's pregnant-especially when it's unexpected-one of the first things she does is reach for her phone.

She's scared. She's searching. And what she finds in those first moments can shape every decision that follows.

[...]

One trusted website-a ".gov" address that carries with it the credibility and reach of the federal government-where any expectant mother can find everything she needs in one place.

[...]

This is a front door-and it's one that should have existed a long time ago.

I'm a mother and a grandmother.

I'm a pro-life pharmacist who spent 30 years in East Tennessee serving families, including many who were facing some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

I have always believed that protecting life doesn't end at birth-it means walking with mothers and families every step of the way.

[...]

The MAHA agenda is about more than diet and exercise.

It's about meeting people where they are and giving them what they need to thrive-including mothers who deserve to know that they are not alone, that help exists, and that their child's life has value from the very beginning.

Moms.gov is a step toward that.
