On behalf of the Alabama Democrats, we wish you a warm and welcoming Holiday season. We thank you for an incredible year and look forward to 2026 as we prepare to battle for the soul of our Democracy. The Alabama Democratic Party offices will close on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 5 p.m. and reopen January 5, 2026 at 9 a.m. Qualifying for running for political office in 2026 will begin January 5, 2026 at 9 a.m. Qualifying will end January 23, 2026 at 5 p.m. Information regarding qualifying will be posted to the website on January 5 and you may qualify online or in person.
