HOUSTON, Texas -Buff alumni from around southeast Texas are invited to an upcoming event in Houston held by the West Texas A&M University Alumni Association.
WT alums will gather at 7:30 p.m. March 28 at Birdies Icehouse, 65 Hirsch Road in Houston.
There, they'll enjoy appetizers and a free drink while reconnecting with fellow alumni and learning how to remain involved with the University.
"WT alumni are well represented across many industries in the Houston area," said Ronnie Hall, executive director of the WT Alumni Association. "This event is a great opportunity to bring Buffs together to reconnect and celebrate the pride they have in WT."
Registration is required at wtamuuw.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3QxAbnR6zUSJP8y.
Strengthening existing and creating new relationships with alumni is a key mission of the University's long-range plan, WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World.
That plan is fueled by the historic One West comprehensive fundraising campaign, which reached its initial $125 million goal 18 months after publicly launching in September 2021. The campaign, which is now winding down, has raised more than $175 million.
