We are recruiting interns! CPU / UNESCO IESALC Internship opportunities in Medellín

We are looking for two interns to join the Centro de Pedagogías Universitarias (CPU), a joint initiative of UNESCO IESALC and the Universidad Nacional Abiertay a Distancia (UNAD) of Colombia. The CPU is dedicated to strengthening university teaching practices across Latin America and the Caribbean by generating research, developing innovative pedagogical resources, and fostering communities of practice among higher education educators. Through its work, the CPU aims to bridge the gap between pedagogical research and classroom practice, supporting faculty development and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning in universities throughout the region.

This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a multilateral environment and contribute to the transformation of university teaching across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key details

  • Role: Intern (2 positions)
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: CPU offices in Medellín, Colombia
  • Supervision: Executive Director of the CPU, UNESCO IESALC

What you will do:

  • Support research on university pedagogies and policy brief drafting.
  • Assist in content creation for the CPU's newsletter and digital outreach.
  • Contribute to the technical structuring of training programs (diplomas, micro-credentials).
  • Map funding opportunities and support strategic partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's (required) or PhD (preferred) in Education, EdTech, Communication, or related fields.
  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory
  • Skills: Strong research capabilities, proactive attitude, and interest in pedagogical innovation.
