Roselle Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire
On Thursday, October 24, at approximately 3:10 PM, Roselle Fire Department units were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of Springhill Dr. Upon arrival, crews reported fire showing from a single ground floor unit with exposure to the second-floor balcony. Crews quickly extinguished the single unit fire with no extension to adjoining units. Minor smoke damage was reported in the first-floor hallway. There were no reported injuries, and all occupants were able to return to their units except for those residing in the unit of origin. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Roselle Fire Department. Roselle Police Social Services is assisting with the affected family with immediate needs. The building has been turned back over to Property Management.
