Ambassador Ara Margarian's Meeting with the Director General of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television

On 29 July, Ambassador Ara Margaryan met with Monika Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė, Director General of the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT).
During the meeting, Ambassador Margarian briefed the Director General on the events and initiatives planned by the Embassy to mark the 35th anniversary of Lithuania's recognition of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.
In this context, he introduced the programme of the Armenian Festival and Fair, to be held on 15 August at Bernardine Garden in Vilnius, highlighting that the event will provide an important opportunity to showcase Armenia, its rich culture and traditions, and express gratitude to Lithuania for being the first country to recognise the independence of the Republic of Armenia.
The interlocutors emphasised the importance of raising public awareness of the event and ensuring its broad visibility among the Lithuanian public. They also agreed on LRT's coverage of the festival
