Secretary-General of ASEAN attends working lunch hosted by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to ASEAN
Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today attended a working lunch hosted by H.E. Ambassador Evangeline T. Ong Jimenez Ducroq, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to ASEAN. The discussion focused on preparations for the Secretary-General of ASEAN's upcoming working visit to the Philippines in November to support the Philippines' Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2026.
Both sides also exchanged views on the upcoming 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits as well as on the Philippines' preparations for its ASEAN Chairmanship next year, including key priorities and deliverables across the three ASEAN Community pillars and the ASEAN Connectivity.
