Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs participates in the meeting between Prime Minister and U.S. - APEC Business Coalition on the sidelines of the 2025 APEC Economic Leaders' Week

On 30 October 2025, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, participated in the meeting between H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, and the U.S. - APEC Business Coalition, comprising of major U.S. business associations, which includes the U.S. - ASEAN Business Council (USABC), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC), and the National Center for APEC (NCAPEC), on the sidelines of the 2025 APEC Economic Leaders' Week (AELW) in Gyeongju, the Republic of Korea.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to the organizers of the U.S. - APEC Business Coalition meeting and reaffirmed the long-standing and close relationship between Thailand and the United States. He emphasized the Thai Government's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the U.S. private sector. He also referred to his discussions with the President of the United States during the recent ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur and at a special dinner hosted by the President of the Republic of Korea on 29 October 2025, where he expressed his hope that the United States would recognize Thailand's goodwill and constructive engagement. He also reaffirmed Thailand's determination to drive economic growth through the promotion of high-tech investments and the creation of a business-friendly environment, with the goal to fostering a strong and sustainable Thailand-U.S. economic partnership.

The meeting was attended by senior executives from more than 20 leading U.S. companies across various sectors, such as Citi, Mastercard, Google, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Organon, Meta, Deloitte, และ Amazon Web Service (AWS).
