Community Reminder: Nashville Fire Department Headquarters at 63 Hermitage Avenue Closes

The Nashville Fire Department (NFD), including the Fire Marshal's Office and administrative operations, is relocating this week to a temporary facility to allow for the construction of the new NFD Station 2 and NFD Headquarters. This move allows the department to continue to serve the public as space becomes increasingly limited during construction of the new NFD Station 2 and NFD Headquarters.

NFD personnel assigned to Headquarters are transitioning from the current headquarters located at:
63 Hermitage Avenue
Nashville, TN 37210.

The Hermitage Avenue location will no longer be valid for in-person business or deliveries as of Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Effective Monday, October 6, 2025, the new temporary location for in-person services and deliveries is:
Nashville Fire Department Headquarters
5244 Hickory Hollow Parkway
Antioch, TN 37013

The department's mailing address will remain unchanged:
P.O. Box 196332, Nashville, TN 37219

During this move, community members and partner organizations may experience delays in responses to in-person inquiries. The NFD encourages those with specific business needs to reach out directly to the personnel they work with or call 615-862-5421.
