dōTERRA Names Jonathan Johnson as President and Emily Snyder as President and Executive Director of dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation as Company Strengthens Operational Leadership

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah, Aug. 6, 2026 -- dōTERRA today announced two leadership appointments: Jonathan Johnson has been named President of the company, and Emily Snyder has been named President and Executive Director of the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation.

Jonathan Johnson Named President

Johnson's appointment marks the next step in strengthening dōTERRA's continued commitment to disciplined leadership as it scales its global operations and reach.

Johnson brings nearly two decades of experience in public relations, mass communications, government and media relations, and organizational strategy. As Chief Communications Officer, he has been working at the intersection of traditional and emerging media to turn communications challenges into opportunities for growth. As President, Johnson will continue to focus on strengthening organizational strategy and helping dōTERRA navigate an increasingly complex global environment, now with expanded leadership responsibility across the company.

Murray Smith, who has served well as President, will continue in the role of Executive Vice President of International, where he will lead and strengthen dōTERRA's global markets, drawing on his deep experience, stability, and long-standing relationships across the company's footprint.

Emily Snyder Named President and Executive Director of dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation

dōTERRA also announced that Emily Snyder has been named President and Executive Director of the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, where she will lead the foundation's global work in education, health, and crisis relief.

Snyder brings a blend of operational discipline and mission-driven leadership to the role. She most recently served as Chief of Staff at Degreed and previously held a senior product and audience engagement role with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Before that, she served as Chief of Staff at Magnolia, the lifestyle brand founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines, advising the founders on organizational design, executive team structure, and carrying the heart of the brand throughout the company. Snyder holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. Throughout her career, Snyder worked professionally with and was mentored by thought leader, author/professor and disruptive innovator Clayton Christensen.

A Shared Vision for the Road Ahead

"Jonathan has an exceptional ability to bring clarity and discipline to complex matters and organizations, and that's exactly what we need as we scale our company for the future," said David Stirling, Founder and CEO of dōTERRA. "Since joining dōTERRA, he has brought strategic thinking and operational rigor, and I'm confident that as he steps into the President role and oversees our Executive Council, he'll help translate our vision into consistent execution across every part of the business. Emily, meanwhile, has spent her career helping mission-driven organizations turn purpose into practice. Healing Hands is the clearest expression of who we are as a company, and I'm confident she'll help us extend that impact further than ever."
