061/2026: Eurex Infrastructure: Introduction of T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services

1. Introduction

Eurex Frankfurt AG will introduce T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services on 2 November 2026. The T7 Cloud Access Point initiative represents a major strategic expansion of Eurex Frankfurt AG's connectivity portfolio, enabling Trading Participants, Sponsored Access Users, and Third-Party Information Providers to access low-latency T7 market data and trading infrastructure directly from Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This advancement removes traditional barriers associated with on-premise hardware.

Accordingly, the Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG has decided on the following amendments to the Price List to the Connection Agreement, Provider Connection Agreement and STPIP and QTPIP Connection Agreement and Price List to Connection Agreement for Sponsored Access Users (hereafter: Price Lists) as well as to the General Terms and Conditions to the Agreement on the technical connection and the utilization of the Exchange-EDP of Eurex Deutschland (Connection Agreement), General Terms and Conditions of the Agreement on the technical connection and the utilization of the Exchange-EDP of Eurex Deutschland for STPIPs (STPIP Connection Agreement) and QTPIPs (QTPIP Connection Agreement) and General Terms and Conditions to the Connection Agreement for Sponsored Access Users (hereafter: GTCs Connection Agreements) with effect from 2 November 2026.

Production start: 2 November 2026

Further information about Eurex Connectivity services is available on the dedicated Connectivity web page under the following link: Connectivity Support.

2. Required action

Participants that do not intend to use the T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services are not required to take any action. Participants wishing to use the new services should review the technical prerequisites, service options and applicable fees before submitting an order.

From 2 November 2026, orders for the new T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services can be submitted in the Member Section of Deutsche Börse Group.

3. Details of the initiative

A. Background

Eurex Frankfurt AG's connectivity portfolio currently comprises on-premise connection types, including Leased Line connections at co-location facilities and the internet-based iAccess Service. These options require Trading Participants to maintain dedicated on-premise infrastructure or to rely on internet service providers.

To complement the existing portfolio, Eurex Frankfurt AG is introducing the T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services, a new cloud-based connection type that enables Trading Participants, Sponsored Access Users and Third-Party Information Providers (TPIP), to access the T7 trading system via a cloud infrastructure without the need for on-premise hardware. The service is operated on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and provides low-latency access to T7 market data services and to Eurex ETI LF and FIX LF gateways for Order Entry and Drop Copy services.

B. Technical Details

The T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services deliver the following key capabilities:

  • Delivering real-time, low-latency Market Data services via Cloud multicast with one-way latency of approx. 500 μs (median) from Frankfurt to Google Cloud europe-west3-b. Market Data services via NATS TCP/IP offer one-way latency of approx. 1-2 ms.
  • Providing secure, encrypted, private interconnectivity between participants' GCP environments and Eurex' T7 back-end systems, including Order Entry access to Eurex.
  • Enabling a cloud-native entry path for diverse participant types.
  • Simultaneous production and simulation access for enhanced development capabilities, algo conformance testing and experimentation.
  • Low-latency Disaster Recovery site for Co-Location customers.
  • Supporting scalable data distribution with cloud multicast, advanced analytics consumption, and shifting non-latency sensitive workloads like risk, trade capture or performance analysis into the cloud.

C. Services Offered

The T7 Cloud Access Point provides access to the following T7 market data and transaction services interfaces:

  • MD1 - Eurex Enhanced Market Data Interface (EMDI)
  • MD2 - Eurex EMDI & Enhanced Order Book Interface (EOBI) Futures
  • MD3 - Eurex EOBI Futures & Options
  • Eurex Transaction Interfaces - All
  • Eurex Transaction Interfaces - Drop Copy only

Each of the MD1, MD2 and MD3 service options also includes access to the Reference Data Interface (RDI).

Trading Participants, Sponsored Access Users and Third-Party Information Providers (TPIP), consuming the Eurex T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services in any combination are charged monthly fees pursuant to the Price Lists attached.

All new Trading Participants of Eurex Deutschland, Sponsored Access Users and Third-Party Information Providers (TPIP), as well as existing participants with no current connectivity footprint (i.e. Multi-Interface Channels, or Market Data and Order Entry 10 Gbit/s connections) with Eurex before the publication date of the circular, are eligible for a temporary Incentive Program effective from 2 November 2026 until 2 November 2027. Under this Incentive Program, for the first 6 months of usage of T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services a fee waiver of 100% of the connectivity fees for T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services applies, and for the following 6 months, a fee waiver of 50% of the connectivity fees for T7 Cloud Access Point Connectivity Services applies.
