Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido Invites Seniors to Attend Shelby Township / Macomb Senior Expo USA

Mount Clemens, Mich. - Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido is inviting seniors to attend the Shelby Township / Macomb Senior Expo USA on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, at The Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will bring together dozens of local organizations and experts offering information and resources for seniors and their families.

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido is proud to be among the sponsors of the Expo. He and his team look forward to meeting attendees. They will be providing free Stopping Crimes Against Macomb Seniors (SCAMS) materials and other goodies.

"Events like this provide an opportunity for seniors and their families to connect directly with organizations that can provide valuable information, resources and services," said Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido. "I encourage seniors throughout Macomb County to attend, ask questions, get information, and take advantage of the resources available to them."

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with experts regarding Medicare, assisted living, mobility solutions, veterans benefits, health insurance, home care, medical equipment, financial planning, legal assistance, aging-in-place improvements, health care and other services.

Prosecutor Lucido is a founding member of the Shelby Township Golden K Kiwanis Club which will be on hand with free canes, walkers and other medical equipment for those in need. The club provides free equipment including hospital beds, wheelchairs, railings, and shower chairs to area seniors and veterans. The Golden K has provided assistance to over 5,000 seniors and veterans in the community.

The Expo will also feature free health screenings, refreshments, prizes, giveaways and opportunities to connect with local organizations.

The Shelby Township / Macomb Senior Expo USA will be held at The Palazzo Grande, located at 54660 Van Dyke Ave. in Shelby Township. Admission is free.
