Lockheed Martin, Department of War Kick Off Supplier Conference Series Focused on Delivering Munitions at Speed and Scale

DALLAS, May 14, 2026 - More than 150 Lockheed Martin [NYSE: LMT] suppliers gathered in Dallas this week to hear directly from Department of War (DoW) officials and participate in strategic, collaborative discussions about how industry can best work together to deliver munitions at speed and scale as part of the inaugural Munitions Acceleration Supplier Conference. Attendees included suppliers from programs that have announced significant munitions ramps, including PAC-3® MSE, THAAD and PrSM.

The series will continue monthly, alternating between in-person and virtual, as the defense industrial base works together to build the Arsenal of Freedom in support of American and allied warfighters, with continued investment by Lockheed Martin and suppliers under DoW's new Acquisition Transformation Strategy.

Lockheed Martin is investing $8-9 billion through 2030 and is already using that funding to scale munitions production, upgrade or build more than 20 facilities across the United States, and invest in the existing supply chain by developing new second sources for key parts needed to achieve munition acceleration rates.
