SHOOTING INVESTIGATION

Sunnyvale, CA - On Wednesday, Feb. 18 at approximately 3:55 p.m., Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety personnel responded to the 1000 block of Stewart Drive on the report of a shooting. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle prior to the arrival of officers. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers immediately provided medical aid to the victim, who was transported by ambulance to a local area hospital for treatment. A short time later, a second adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound was dropped off at the Valley Health Center located at 660 S. Fair Oaks Ave. The second victim was treated by staff members at the health center and transported by ambulance to a local area hospital for treatment. Both shooting victims are expected to survive their injuries.
