The Law On Denunciation of the Intergovernmental Agreement with the United States On Plutonium Management and Disposition

The federal law denounces the Agreement Between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United States of America Concerning the Management and Disposition of Plutonium Designated as No Longer Required for Defence Purposes and Related Cooperation, signed in Moscow on August 29, 2000, and in Washington, D.C., on September 1, 2000, as well as the Protocol to the Agreement Between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United States of America Concerning the Management and Disposition of Plutonium Designated as No Longer Required for Defence Purposes and Related Cooperation, signed in Washington, D.C., on September 15, 2006, and the Protocol to the Agreement Between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United States of America Concerning the Management and Disposition of Plutonium Designated as No Longer Required for Defence Purposes and Related Cooperation, signed in Washington, D.C., on April 13, 2010.

As per the Federal Law On the International Agreements of the Russian Federation, the decision on the denunciation of the agreement and protocols thereto shall be formalised in a federal law.
