The City of West Hollywood's Free Theatre in the Parks program will present Impro Theatre's Jane Austen UnScripted, a completely improvised play in the style of the iconic author at Kings Road Park for six-performances beginning Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 4 p.m. and running Saturdays and Sundays through Sunday, September 27, 2026. Kings Road Park is located at 1000 N. Kings Road. Attendance is free and suitable for all ages; seating is first-come, first-served. RSVP is requested at https://freetheatre-weho2026.eventbrite.com.
Impro Theatre's 75-minute production of Jane Austen UnScripted is directed by Paul Rogan and features an amazing cast! Starting with an audience suggestion, the cast will create a hilarious, fully improvised play in the style of the iconic author. The actors will dive into Regency-era manners, sharp comedy, and romance in real time, creating a brand-new, unique story with every performance. Impro Theatre aspires to change the world through joyful artistic engagement by performing, teaching, and expanding storytelling through unscripted theatre.
