Body

The contractor is continuing to prepare the site for construction and is scheduled to begin demolition of the Solids Recovery Basin No. 3 in late July. This construction will be followed by the demolition of the concrete retaining wall along the west side of the reservoir, and then the concrete lined sludge storage pond. These demolition activities involve cutting and breaking up concrete with heavy demolition equipment. The concrete and rebar will then be removed from the site for recycling. This phase of demolition is expected to last 4 to 6 weeks, through mid to late September. During this time, nearby residents may hear more noise during normal work hours and see additional truck traffic on San Roque Road and Foothill Road.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Every effort will be made to reduce disruptions and complete the work safely.
