Action CEO Hajir Hajji was awarded a 2026 Rise & Lead Changemaker

We are proud to share that yesterday, our CEO, Hajir Hajji, received the 2026 Rise & Lead Changemaker Award. The award recognises leaders whose work creates opportunities, transforms organisations and makes a lasting impact in business and society.

Hajir joined Action as a store employee in 1997, before becoming CEO 25 years later. Her story demonstrates what is possible when talent is supported with opportunities to learn, grow and develop. Hajir shares this award with the more than 80,000 colleagues, whose commitment brings a smile to customers' faces every day. Many colleagues have built their careers at Action, and Hajir's journey is just one inspiring example.

In 2025, we promoted more than 3,700 colleagues to more senior roles, reflecting our commitment to helping people build their careers at Action.
