The Hawaiʻi Public Utilities Commission (PUC) will convene a public meeting regarding Punaluʻu Water and Sanitation, LLC (PWS) Monday, October 19, 2026 at at 6:00 p.m. at the Pāhala Community Center. The meeting is being held in light of the current lack of services affecting PWS customers.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for affected customers and other members of the public to share their concerns. Representatives from PWS will address the utility's interim and long-term plans for service restoration and other related matters.
The PUC has asked PWS and the Division of Consumer Advocacy to remain after the meeting to answer customer questions.
Members of the public are encouraged to speak at the meeting. Written comments are also accepted. All written comments will become part of the public record and be publicly accessible on the PUC's Case and Document Management System.
