General Election - November 3, 2026
Oregon will hold a statewide general election on November 3, 2026. Make a plan to vote! Use the information on this page to make sure you are ready to vote in Oregon's upcoming statewide general election.

Voter Registration
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Ballots will be mailed to voters in Oregon starting October 14.
Election Day is the last day for a voter to return their ballot. The Secretary of State's office strongly encourages voters to return their ballot via a drop box as soon as they are ready to vote.

All active registered voters will be mailed a ballot containing the relevant candidates and measures based on the residential address on their voter registration. Statewide races are on every ballot, which includes the races for Governor and U.S. Senator this year. There are no statewide ballot measures on the ballot this election.
Party affiliation does not impact the contents of general election ballots.
Registered voters may check their voter information and status online using My Vote, or by calling their county elections office .
Any Oregon voter can request and receive help registering to vote, marking their ballot, or returning their ballot.
County Voting Assistance Teams are available to help you vote privately and independently. You may get help from a friend, family member or other trusted person, however under Oregon law you cannot receive help from your employer or union.

Pamphlets will be mailed to every residence address in Oregon beginning October 7.
Voters' pamphlets will also available online in written form starting September 29 and in audio form on October 5.
Translated voters' pamphlets become available on October 9. With help from community volunteers, the Secretary of State's office translates portions of state and county voters' pamphlets into the most spoken non-English languages in the state and in each county. Candidates are not required to submit a statement in the voters' pamphlet. If a particular candidate is not in the voters' pamphlet, it is because they did not submit their information to the Secretary of State's office by the deadline.
Your ballot packet will include instructions from your county on completing your ballot. Follow the instructions to complete your ballot selections or make corrections to your selections.
If your ballot has been lost, destroyed, or damaged in a way that stops you from voting, call your county elections office to request a replacement ballot.

Asking someone to help you return your voted ballot is allowed under Oregon law. If a person helps you return your ballot, they must deposit the ballot at an official drop box or place it in the mail within 2 days of receiving it or by election day, whichever is sooner. The Secretary of State's office strongly encourages returning ballots via a drop box. If the ballot is mailed, it must be postmarked by election day and received by the county elections office no later than the 7th day after the election to be counted.
