Honigman recently advised Sounds True, a mission-driven learning and media company that is a leader in the Mind, Body, Spirit space, on the sale of its book, e-book, and audio original catalogs to Macmillan Publishers.

The deal includes a backlist, upcoming titles, as well as original audio content. With the completion of the transaction, books and e-books will be published under St. Martin's Essentials, and audio content will be published by Macmillan Audio.

The partnership will be beneficial for Sounds True as it will allow the company to expand and strengthen its fast-growing direct-to-consumer platform with a partner that shares its mission.

A Honigman corporate team led by Partner Evan J. Leibhan, with support from Associates Paul W. Howarah and Joseph M. Kuzmiak advised Sounds True on the transaction.
