WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Rep. Rob Bresnahan for Pennsylvania's Eighth District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will support policies that drive innovation, grow the economy, and create opportunities for American businesses and workers.
"The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to endorse Congressman Rob Bresnahan for reelection in Pennsylvania's Eight Congressional District," said Kevin Courtois, Vice President of the U.S. Chamber's Great Lakes Region. "Rob understands firsthand what it takes to grow and sustain a small business, and that real-world experience has made him a strong advocate for policies that support America's job creators. As a small business owner, he has brought a practical, pro-growth perspective to Congress, championing lower taxes, regulatory certainty, workforce development, and policies that strengthen our economy. Rob has a deep commitment to the businesses and workers in Northeast Pennsylvania, and we look forward to continuing our work together in the 120th Congress."
"Entrepreneurs and small business owners deserve leaders who understand what it takes to build a business, meet a payroll, and create jobs. Before coming to Congress, I spent my career running my own small business in Northeastern Pennsylvania, so I know those challenges firsthand. I'm honored to have the support of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and I'll keep fighting to cut red tape, rein in reckless spending, and help employers grow and create opportunity," said Congressman Rob Bresnahan.
"The PA Chamber congratulates Congressman Bresnahan on receiving the U.S. Chamber's endorsement, and we look forward to continuing to work with him to build a more competitive Pennsylvania. He has been a strong advocate for the priorities that matter to people in NEPA - improving infrastructure, expanding workforce opportunities, cutting unnecessary red tape, and delivering results. Rob's experience as a job creator brings an important perspective to Congress, and he has put that perspective to work by helping advance policies that protect jobs, support families, and restore accountability in government."
