Construction for the City of Fairfield 2025-2026 Pavement Maintenance Project will kick off on Woolner Avenue on Monday, August 17, 2026. Contractor VSS International, Inc. will begin phase one by replacing 10 curb ramps between Enterprise Drive and Pennsylvania Avenue before resurfacing the street.
Funded in part by Measure P, this preventive maintenance project will treat approximately 2.1 million square feet of roadways across Fairfield.
The project involves applying a protective slurry seal, which is a treatment that prevents potholes and extends pavement life to keep roads smooth and safe for drivers and cyclists.
