HONOLULU, Aug. 2, 2026 - With hazardous weather conditions abating, Hawaiian Electric has ended its Public Safety Power Shutoff watch.

Wind speeds have been decreasing and humidity levels rising out of hazardous ranges across Hawaiian Electric's service territories. Hawaiian Electric did not need to shut off power to customers under its PSPS program. Any power outages were unrelated to the PSPS program.
