Hy-Vee Acquires County Market and Circle K in Wausau, Wisconsin
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Oct. 1, 2025) - Hy-Vee, Inc. announces today that is acquiring the County Market store, located at 220 S. 18th Avenue in Wausau, Wisconsin. The County Market will close at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, and reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 18 as the Wausau Hy-Vee store. Hy-Vee also will acquire the adjacent Circle K convenience store, which will be rebranded as a Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh location.

All of the 130 full-time and part-time employees of the County Market will be offered positions as Hy-Vee employees.
