BOLTON, MS - Congressman Bennie G. Thompson today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded $22,493,185 in federal funding to support Head Start and Early Head Start programs serving children and families throughout Mississippi's Second Congressional District. The grants will strengthen early childhood education, expand access to comprehensive child development services, and provide critical support for working families across the Mississippi Delta.
