The individuals who lost their lives in the murder-suicide in the Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood are identified as:

Maria Florencia Rubio, 48, of Portland (note a corrected age from previous release)

Liliana Morgan, 10, of Portland

Miguel Morgan, 22, of Portland

UPDATE: PPB Releases Additional Details in Triple Homicide

The Portland Police Bureau is releasing additional details about the triple homicide in the Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood.

While the investigation into the deaths of three individuals on September 6, 2025, is ongoing, detectives with PPB's Homicide Unit believe a 22-year-old male took the lives of his 48-year-old mother and 10-year-old sister before taking his own life.

The identities of the involved will be released after the Medical Examiner completes the autopsies.

No further information will be shared at this time.

Three Deceased in Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood, Investigation Underway

Three people were found deceased at a residence in the Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood and an investigation is underway.

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at approximately 5:05 p.m., officers assigned to the Portland Police Bureau's East Precinct responded to reports of a suicide at a residence in the 7000 block of Southeast 64th Avenue. When they arrived, officers found a male and two females deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Detectives from PPB's Homicide Unit have responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. At this point, detectives do not believe there is a danger to the public.

PPB's Crisis Response Team (CRT) also responded to the scene to provide emotional support and resources to affected family and community members.
