Ranked as one of the top star-producing institutions in the nation, CCM was represented by at least 34 alumni performing on Broadway stages during the 2025-26 season according to Playbill's coverage. CCM is ranked No. 6 in Playbill's list - above The Juilliard School and Yale. CCM is the only school in Ohio in the top 10 on Playbill's list.

CCM teaches musical theatre students to be skillful and expressive singers, musicians, dancers and actors. Faculty focus on skill building, and the individual artistry of each our students, while teaching them to cultivate longevity in the profession. The college also works to set them up for success after graduation. In addition to numerous performance opportunities at CCM and in the community, the college gives students opportunities to connect with industry professionals like Stephen Schwartz in master classes. Graduating seniors also present an annual Senior Showcase to agents and casting directors in New York, which often leads to landing jobs on Broadway, Off Broadway and in national tours right after graduation.
There is a giant team of performers, producers, designers, technicians, administrators, composers, musicians and more working behind the scenes to bring Broadway's shows to life. In addition to the alums working on Broadway, CCM celebrates all of the creatives who work on productions in touring companies and theaters around the country!
