Henderson State announces fall music performance schedule

Henderson State University's Department of Music has announced its fall performance schedule. Events range from ensemble performances to student and faculty recitals. All are free and open to the public.

· Sept. 16 - Clark County Fair Parade, Downtown Arkadelphia, 5 p.m.

· Oct. 6 - HSU Choirs concert, First United Methodist Church, 7:30 p.m.

· Oct. 9 - Student performances, Harwood Recital Hall, noon

· Oct. 10 - Showband at PowerBand Classic, Lake Hamilton High School

· Oct. 13 - Faculty/Guest Recital: Drs. Heather Thayer, Amy Laursen, and May Tsao-Lim, Harwood Recital Hall, 7:30 p.m.

· Oct. 17 - Showband at Arkadelphia Marching Contest, Arkadelphia High School

· Oct. 20 - HSU Brass Ensembles "Brasstoberfest," Harwood Recital Hall, 7:30 p.m.

· Oct. 23 - Student performances, Harwood Recital Hall, noon
