LG Inspires Young Innovators From 185 Countries at the FGC 2026 International Robotics Competition

Robots Take on a Global Challenge

Since its launch in 2017, the FIRST Global Challenge has brought together youth teams from around the world to tackle global issues through robotics. This year's theme, "Igniting Innovation," focused on wildfire prevention and recovery. In a simulated environment reflecting different stages of wildfire response, teams used their robots to complete missions in prevention, firefighting and recovery. An alliance of young participants from Uzbekistan, Moldova, Venezuela and El Salvador took the overall victory.
