Attorney General Ford Announces Grant Opportunities to Combat Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking

Carson City, NV - Today, Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford announced the release of a Notice of Funding Opportunity for Nevada law enforcement agencies, prosecutors' offices, courts and nonprofit organizations to apply for funding through the Services-Training-Officers-Prosecutors (STOP) and Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) grants.

"These grants provide critical resources to organizations and agencies working every day to support victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence," said Attorney General Ford. "By investing in victim services, law enforcement and other community partners, we can help ensure survivors across Nevada have access to the support and resources they need while strengthening efforts to hold offenders accountable."

The Office of the Nevada Attorney General receives funding through the U.S. Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women and awards grants to local, regional and statewide programs that provide services to victims and survivors. Funding supports nonprofit service providers, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors and courts working to enhance victim safety, improve services and hold offenders accountable for domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.

Agencies and organizations interested in applying must submit a completed application by 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, 2026. For a copy of the solicitation and application packet or for more information, please visit the grants page on the Office of the Attorney General's website or contact the Grants Unit at [email protected].
