Michelin, a global leader in tire innovation and performance, has been named the Official Tire of the Apex One Endurance Series, a new racing championship dedicated to testing the limits of both drivers and machines in multi-hour endurance competitions.
As part of this new partnership, Michelin will provide its race-proven tire technology to all Apex One competitors, ensuring consistent performance and reliability across every event in the series. The collaboration underscores Michelin's long-standing commitment to endurance racing, where tire durability, efficiency and adaptability play critical roles in team strategy and success.
"Endurance racing pushes vehicles and tires to their absolute limits, making it the ultimate stage to showcase Michelin's technology, innovation and pursuit of sustainable mobility," said Raymond Cotton, motorsports director, Michelin North America, Inc. "This new partnership with Apex One reflects that dedication and compliments Michelin's existing global racing initiatives."
Apex One, an American testing and racing event organizer, has partnered with Creventic, a Dutch promoter of endurance races in Europe, to create the new Apex One Endurance Series.
Apex One will host a two-round winter series featuring a spectrum of GT cars in a multi-class format.
The series will launch this fall at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida, with the Sebring 10H on Nov. 20-23, 2025. The series will utilize Creventic's FIA-approved 24H Series rulebook and circuit specific BoP.
The multi-class field will be open to a variety of cars in Pro/Am and Am classes, including all generations of homologated GT3s, a Porsche GT3 Cup 992 class, a TC4 class allowing production-based, including GT4 named racecars built after 2015, and the TCE class, which is open to a variety of touring cars, BMW M2 CS, Ginetta G56, Porsche 981/982 and more.
The second race takes place on Feb. 5-8, 2026 at Circuit of the Americas, the COTA 12H in Austin, Texas. Round two will be a split format with seven hours of racing on Saturday, park ferme overnight and five hours of racing on Sunday.
The Apex One Endurance Series is intended to be a launching platform for amateur and young professional drivers alike.
With Michelin onboard, the series gains the backing of one of motorsport's most accomplished tire brands, renowned for its victories at legendary races including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Rolex 24 at Daytona, and FIA World Endurance Championship events.
"Having Michelin as our Official Tire Partner elevates the Apex One Endurance Series to new heights," said Daniel Bloom, president of APEX One. "Michelin's track record in endurance racing is unmatched, and their expertise ensures our teams and drivers will experience the highest standard of competition and performance."
